TO THE HEART with Father Pete

Hello my friends! Several of you have asked me to address both personal & spiritual questions. Here are two of the questions and my answers to them. I invite more questions, so call me or email Diana at the Parish Office. This is a new article that we will publish weekly in our bulletin as well as our Blog on our website and also a post on Facebook.

Dear Father Pete….

What ONE word comes to mind when you think about your journey over the last 2 years?

The word is…”WARMTH.” The gift of this parish, to me, is warmth. I mean it in the sense of hospitality, welcome & gentleness. I am proud of our parish and our parish culture. I am grateful to God because this is a grace and grateful to you because of your kind and welcoming ways.

How have you grown in the Spirit at St. Eugene in the last 2 years?

I believe that The Father has granted me to grow spiritually here in this Parish. I believe a grace has deepened within me here, the grace of peaceful joy! I am able to accept the Father’s will in my day like never before. I deeply enjoy people, ministry, prayer, nature & even, inconveniences daily. Even challenges, inconveniences, and adversity have been given me to respond generously with peaceful – joy. Thank you for your support and prayers for me. I believe these are channels of God’s grace.
